New Review – “Want to Know a Secret” by Freida McFadden

“Want to Know a Secret” by Freida McFadden follows baking sensation April Masterson as she navigates the neighborhood of stay-at-home moms. There is drama and secrets, but what if her own secrets are enough to tear her life apart? What is she hiding?

The first few hundred pages of this book really dive into April’s life and are a little bit slow, to be honest. Once we break through to the drama, that is when it really starts to pick up. There is even a second POV in the second half of the book, which really changes the way you see April’s would-be perfect life.

This wasn’t my favorite Freida McFadden book, as it’s not as twisty as her others. The story is more of a developing twist. It was fairly predictable but still enjoyable, nonetheless.

I would recommend this to any hardcore Freida McFadden fan. Just remember, this might not be her best work of fiction, but it is still entertaining enough to read.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5
