Book Review – “The Surrogate Mother” by Freida McFadden

“The Surrogate Mother” by Freida McFadden follows Abby on her quest to become a mother. When Abby is approached by her assistant, Monica, with an offer to carry her baby as a surrogate, she decides to accept the offer. Everything seems to check out as Abby digs into Monica’s personal and health history. But what if things are truly not as they seem?

Bring out a bag of popcorn because you’re going to need it! I devoured this novel in less than 24 hours; it was that good! It’s twisty and unputdownable. I had to keep reading it because I just needed to know the outcome of the story. It was twisty and would keep you on your toes, trying to figure out what was going to happen. I can’t tell you exactly why I was so invested in this story, but I was. Maybe it was all the drama and juicy gossip, or maybe it was because I’m a mom who experienced brief fertility problems at one point. I felt for Abby, truly. All she wanted was a baby of her own.

I highly recommend this to Freida McFadden fans and anyone who loves a good, fast-paced popcorn novel. Just be warned: before you decide to use a surrogate to carry your child, you should always go through proper and legal procedures. Anything can happen, right?

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
