New Review – “The Unseen and Uninvited: A Short Story” by Sara Kate

“The Unseen and Uninvited: A Short Story” by Sara Kate follows a married woman, Emily, as she seems to grow more confused and paranoid by the day due to a lack of sleep. Strange occurrences happen around her home that she just can’t explain. Is she losing her mind because of a lack of sleep, or is it something truly frightening?

I enjoyed the immense tension in this short story! There’s so much of it to go around. I mean, Emily literally has no clue what to believe, and I couldn’t gain the upper hand on what could truly be going on until the end. Let me tell you, the ending is like nightmare sauce. Good luck sleeping soundly after reading this one.

The only thing that could have been better for me is if more thorough editing had been completed. There are some spelling, grammar, and sentence structure issues, but overall, I was able to get a complete story out of the book, and it was a great read.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
