New Review – “The Tenant” by Freida McFadden

“The Tenant” by Freida McFadden follows Blake Porter as he is fired from his executive career and is financially forced to rent a room in his home to a tenant. In comes Whitney, the presumably perfect tenant—or is she?

This book was a fantastically fast read, and I loved every second of it! This is McFadden’s first time writing a book from the POV of a man, and she nailed it! I was hooked, and I really didn’t expect how it would turn out. It was quite the treat.

The angry tension between Blake and the new tenant will blow your mind for all the right reasons.  I can’t imagine living with someone so ruthless.  You’ll just have to read it to find out.

The double twists at the end had me really thinking that in McFadden’s world, we should be careful about trusting the people we let into our circle.

Overall, I definitely recommend adding this to your TBR. You won’t be disappointed—at least, I hope you won’t! Happy reading!
