“Maeve Fly” by C.J. Leede follows Maeve, a twenty-something with a day job as a Disney princess. However, when the costume is off, she’s just a dark, troubled, and confused woman.
Maeve Fly’s inner dialogue really captures this story. I mean, the woman goes completely unhinged and wreaks havoc around L.A.
Did I like it? I did, in a sense, but it was such a bizarre story.
If you like your characters to go completely off the chain, then this one is for you. Just check the trigger warnings; this book does include some sexual assault (SA).
